The BandTel Story
BandTel is an outgrowth of a very successful telecommunications company called CD Communications Service (CDCS). CDCS is in the business of supplying, installing and managing IVR applications for half the regional shopping malls in America. CDCS has been in business for over 12 years and has been quite successful. In fact, the founders of BandTel are the same people that conceived, built and managed CDCS.
BandTel was created to take advantage of a progression in technology in the marketplace. Most large businesses are now adopting some form of VoIP communication within their organizations. The cost reduction, manageability and flexibility that VoIP provides are taking telecommunications into the 21st century.
Conceiving of a new plan is one thing but executing the plan and incorporating the right personnel and staffing is another. One reason we believe our technology is superior is that our CTO Pete Sandstrom was the first person to do a VoIP call using SS7 technology way back in 1997. Since that time the technology has been perfected by Mr. Sandstrom and others resulting in a robust service offering for a wide spectrum of customers.
